| There website is [ www.dasautoshippers.com ] End result? Car arrived with over 200 extra miles on it, and a company that refuses to admit it is liable. "Some extra milleage is expected", "Our computer doesn't match what you are claiming", ect... They take mileage reading when you drop the car off, and when you pick it up. However, they claim that "their" copy shows no discrepency, and that mine are "forged". Not even a simple "sorry".... Also, they will drop the price for you on the phone by $50 if you ask for it. They do not ship soley with their own trucks, rather a network of carriers. They will not be held liable for any damage over $500 (regardless of how it gets there). Scary thing... they were the highest rated shippers. I didn't care about my car too much, because I bought a rather rough Z so that I could enjoy fixing it up.... but I just don't like the idea of shipping cheap. If you are shipping a nice car, BUY the extra insurance or verify with your insurance that they will cover any damages.
